Privacy policy
Casita is built for people, not advertisers. This page explains what I collect in the app and on this website, why, and the choices you have.
1. What I collect
In the app: your name and email when you create an account, the household, chores and notes you add, and basic usage data that helps keep the app working. On this website: your name and email when you sign up for the beta, and your name, email and message when you use the contact form.
2. How I use it
Only to run Casita: syncing chores between members, sending reminders, and calculating credits and streaks. Beta sign-ups are used to send you a TestFlight invite, and contact messages to answer your question. I never sell your data.
3. Who can see it
Chores and activity are visible to the members of your household. I rely on a small number of trusted providers to host and deliver the service. When something breaks on this website, an error report goes to Sentry; it can include your IP address and browser details.
5. How long I keep it
I keep your app data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is removed permanently. Beta sign-ups are deleted when the beta ends, and contact messages once your question has been handled.
6. Your rights
You can view, correct, export or delete your data at any time. For anything else, reach out through the Support page. If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Who I am
Casita is made by Jouri Jalving, who is responsible for the data described here. You can reach me through the Support page.
